It’s time once again for another inspiring, motivating, challenging and faith building Festival of Faith. We look forward to a large number of disciples from Georgia, North and South Carolina and other parts of the country coming together to be inspired by some of the most dynamic speakers and teachers in our fellowship. Highlights of this year’s Festival will include keynote speakers Mike Taliaferro from the San Antonio Church of Christ and elder/evangelist Sam Powell from the New York City Church of Christ. Mike will open our conference with the theme “The Great and Awesome God”, helping us to appreciate our God who is beyond understanding. Sam will address the issue of holiness in the Saturday evening speech “ Holy, Holy, Holy Is His Name.” You will not want to miss either of these two brothers who are renowned for moving the hearts of God’s people. Special guests this year will also include church leaders from Africa and the Caribbean.

One of the unique features of the 2008 event will be a concentrated time for more in-depth Bible study. The entire Saturday morning session will be devoted to Bible study as four of our best teachers will conduct simultaneous expositions on different books of the Bible. Sam Laing, noted evangelist and author, will be leading a class on Isaiah. Mitch Mitchell, an evangelist and expositor for the Triangle church in North Carolina, will dig into the book of Matthew. Gary Roberson, admired Bible teacher in the Atlanta area, will take us into the heart of Hebrews. Joey Harris, biblical scholar and A.I.M. instructor, will also be doing an expository class (topic to be announced later). In all these expositions we will see even more clearly just how great and awesome is the God that we serve.

We will also have special sessions for the Teens, College students, Singles, and Men and Women on Saturday. This will be such an important time for us to fellowship, be inspired and to inspire one another. Our teens have been getting together throughout the year in several smaller gatherings and at The Swamp. The Festival of Faith will be the perfect opportunity to have a large reunion of these teens to see what God will do with the next generation! Last February the College students had well over 300 at their retreat and they can look forward to gathering for another session at the 2008 Festival of Faith. Many singles were spiritually renewed in Atlanta over the Labor Day weekend and the Festival will give them even more opportunities for faith and fellowship.

This year the registration costs will be $50 per adult and $25 for College and High School students. The maximum registration for a family will be $125.
